Arriving just after sunset (6pm in January), I was a little uncomfortable with no access to the lobby. I stood in a parking garage to use a phone to call the manager to check in. My card didn't work to take the elevator to my floor that you access from the garage. The manager was very nice and came out to show me I wasn't using the key card correctly. Got to my room and the key card didn't work correctly there either! Was issued a second card. My daughter flew in and arrived at the hotel at 2am. Since there was no lobby, I sat in my car in the parking garage to wait for her! Then the key card wouldn't work for the elevator in the garage ... at 2am! Called the manager and he issued another card. After after that, all was well. I didn't realize that I would need a 2nd night in SF. After reading this, you would think that I would find another place, but I didn't. Weighing the pros and cons, I decided that the manager was attentive, the parking garage was safe, the atmosphere inside was appealing, the room was clean and comfy, and the price was right. And if you have a rental car, the airport is just a few minutes away, and a gas station on the way.

clean rooms, microwave, refrigerator, just as good as more upscale and more expensive places like Marriott Courtyard or Marriott Fairfield or Hilton Hampton or Garden Inn brands, daily housekeeping, very friendly staff, everything really well maintained, nice town very close by (walking distance) with lots of restaurants and supermarkets etc..Walking distance to CalTrain, in 10 min in San Francisco. Is a really food alternative to all the other hotels in the same place and also to hotels in SF. Free and safe parking. I recommend this place. Great value.

Airport Inn has the best value you will find near San Francisco and San Francisco airport. The owners are absolutely some of the most wonderful people and will take care of your needs. The rooms are always clean and are roomy. If you’re looking for luxurious accommodation this may not be for you, that said it is still one of the best hotels if you’re looking for value, location and cleanliness. The parking is absolutely wonderful and is covered as well as free. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Check-in was quick and easy through the after hours window. Walking distance to the Empress Dumpling restaurant was only a short 15 minute walk. The room was very clean and had a spacious living room. Great to have free parking in the large garage located at the basement level. Even though the Inn was near the freeway, I could not hear the noise from my room.

We arrived at 3:00 in the morning because our flight fromWashington D.C. was delayed when a storm moved over D.C. The night manager responded quickly to the bell. Then we needed to be at the car rental place at 5:00, so we only had 2 hours to rest and close our eyes. All went well. The room was comfortable and quiet. Alas, we didn’t even use the shower.
